Bambaji was born in Barnet, just north of London, as one of six children. She has many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews! Bambaji is married to Bear, who has two children from his previous marriage, and five grandsons. Bambaji and Bear met whilst travelling by train to London in 2013. Bear was reading Eckhart Tolle, Bambaji was reading Alan Watts—all meant to be!!
Bambaji’s open G Centre led her to experience many careers in her life. She has studied many paths and has many certificates as proof!! She spent one year earning her food and wine diploma, learning to fine-tune her cooking skills before working as Head Chef in Fred’s nightclub in Soho, London. Another year was invested in aromatherapy training, which Bambaji put to good use for three years as masseuse and aromatherapist.
And she brought her love of body systems into her training as fitness instructor and gym coach, teaching classes and creating coaching plans for gym-goers.
Bambaji’s main career was in television, beginning in Central TV’s transcription department based in Birmingham, when typewriters and cassette players were still de rigueur, and eventually joining with her best friend, Ween, to become her Assistant Production Accountant working on television dramas for independent companies. Bambaji’s previous careers came together as she made lunches for crew, and energized her office with essential oils, offering colleagues massages during filming breaks.
Human Design found Bambaji in 2018, just one month after her mother transitioned. She had been looking after Peg for twelve years, giving up her flat near London and her job in television to take care of her mum. Peg’s health presented many challenges as she slowly deteriorated, living her last four years in care, and still Bambaji recalls her time with Peg as rewarding. Bambaji and Peg laughed quite often, watched many Jane Austen films and tennis matches together, with much in-house Federer/Nadal rivalry (unless Murray was playing and temporary ceasefires were called!).
Since discovering Human Design, Bambaji immersed herself in classes and retreats, soaking up much knowledge. She moved quickly through Foundation classes and became LYD Guide in 2019. She began studying with Ilse Sendler at HD Austria, taking her Analyst training and BG5 practitioner training. On passing her Analyst exams, Bambaji’s gifted abilities landed her panel’s continued praise and insistent teaching offers. Bambaji now teaches in Ilse’s school, walking beginners and Analysts through her bountiful knowledge. She is frequently invited to speak at international events and to collaborate with her colleagues, many of whom are now close friends.
After giving up both home and many possessions in July of 2025, Bambaji and Bear now live as full-time nomads, carrying only six suitcases of essentials, travelling to fulfill new invitations, and enjoying cat-sitting opportunities intermingled with worldwide speaking engagements.
